We recently exchanged tips on maintaining a good attitude and thought you might be interested to hear them, too.

Attitude can affect ourselves and those around us. In addition to recognizing that dogs and chocolate cure all, here are some of the tips that our team came up with to improve our mindset and personal behavior at home and at work:

~ Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it
~ We try to do the best we can with the information we have and make a positive assumption that others are doing their best too
~ When facing frustrating circumstances, taking a few deep breathes or walking away can help tremendously.
~ Exercise and walking is a great stress relief
~ Gratitude. Gratitude and anxiety cannot coexist…..Making a list of the people/places/things that you’re thankful for helps cancels out stress/anxiety
~ Be aware of the health impacts a bad attitude/unbridled stress can have on each of us
~ When dealing with difficult personalities, try focusing on one positive thing about that individual (even if it’s a stretch) to help carry you through a challenging interaction
~ Dogs
~ Set positive intentions each morning
~ Fake it until you make it
~ Good sleep is key
~ Chocolate
~ Focusing on the things that bring us joy (live music, our dogs, kids, the weekend festivities, significant others, etc.) can help power us through a rough day.

Have a great day!
